PEOPLE ARE SEXIST TO THE KREWELLA CHICKS BUT THEY ARE MOSTLY HATED BECAUSE THEY MAKE GARBAGE MUSIC

Ladies and gentlemen, we are on the verge of a new era. The post Krewella era. Certainly there is a lot of garbage out there in the world of EDM, but every revolution starts with one step and if we can fucking get rid of even one singular evil thing out there, then the world is still a marginally better place. Ebola will still exist, as will global warming but these catastrophes will be unfolding with a slightly better soundtrack.

Recently there was that big op ed by one of the girls in the group in Billboard. You can read it here. I have to give props to her for writing this piece. It’s an intelligent counter to their growing irrelevance. She basically makes them the vanguard of the struggle for women in the music industry. She shows comments from social media where people call them whores and sluts.

I agree that that shit is terrible. Those people writing that shit are ignorant as fuck and hopefully live far away from other human beings. Hopefully they regularly have heavy objects hit them in the genitalia. Hopefully someone steals their bike.

It’s not cool. She however doesn’t get the real reason most non-sexist people hate Krewella: their music sucks fucking balls.

I was speaking about it with other DJ colleagues and we figured it out: they are the Evanescence of EDM. They look super gothy and fucking hard and shit but then they have the fucking softest, basic ass music that sounds like if early Taylor Swift slept with The Black Eyed Peas “I’ve Got A Feeling”.

If you play their music while pregnant, your baby will take naked selfies for Instagram likes when they grow up.

I would not be surprised if the fucking CIA used their music to torture prisoners in Guantanamo. I haven’t read the report that was just released on the condemned CIA practices but I bet they are mentioned in there. They are a real and reasonable reason to hate America.

Their 15 min are done. They are a future Nickelback. A least Nickelback made their own shitty music whereas these people have other people make shitty music for them and then they go out and take ownership for that shit.

This group is like Uggs came to life.

There are women with talent struggling in this industry. What are they dealing with? Let’s hear from them.
