Mr Vega is a fucking machine. Not only is he part of Sazon Booya, one of the biggest moombahton (even global bass) acts in the world but he also had quite a reputation for his solo work and a long history in the music biz. I love what he fucking did here because I feel the exact same way about trap. What most of the genre has ended up being is hip hop instrumentals. It’s funny because when I really try to pay attention to many of the trap beats I can hear that similar beats already existed in rap music or hip hop 10 or more years ago. A way to innovate is to combine that shit with different types of vocals so that you are taking a real risk in doing something strange and new. Definitely check this out. It’s got a collab with the master Heartbreak and you can even hear Vega himself under his guise of Jay Romance. The man goes all in. Frequent Vega and Sazon collaborators Otis Clapp and Ko-Lition can be heard too. Def check this out!
