Walmer Convenience

Now that all the dust has settled after the Sazon Booya breakup shit show, we have a chance now to see how each of the pair sound on their own and in a way, how much each contributed to the Sazon Booya sound. We heard Mr Vega/Ricky Vaughn’s excellent free album, but maybe you have been wondering what the other guy, Dj Sav, is all about.

Have you? Yes? Ok, then read on. So, my impression is that dude has come a long fucking way if he was just learning to produce when he teamed up with Mr Vega. These are fucking powerful tracks that are meant for the most peak time in the biggest room. Is it at the same level as Mr Vega? No. But, it’s a very good start that hints at a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see what Sav can do when he tries to put his effort into some tracks that don’t have insane sirens (there was, for my taste, a little too much siren). I think the main point here is that Dj Sav is not gone with the end of Sazon Booya. There are definitely a few chapters left in his career.
