It’s here. Something special that will be the sound of 2013 by the time this year is done. This is the true union of hip hop and dance that edm trap music could never be. Let’s be clear about something: trap music was just dubstep without the wobble and with snares. Otherwise it has the same bpm, same song structure. Obviously there are the ties to southern rap but I would say that when you listen to most trap the departure point of most of the producers is not southern rap.

If someone were to ask me what twerk is, I would say it is the EDM version of this:

I love that song like my own son which isn’t really saying much since I have no son. But still. This is a music that has the 808 drum kit sound of trap but it also is fast enough for girls to dance to and make their ass clap to. Also, if you are someone who actually knows rap you will know that twerk will prob mix with way more rap than trap which could only mix with southern shit. It also mixes with moombahton which I like too. Here is just a sample of some great tracks:
