THE NEW MAJOR LAZER REMIX COLLECTION AND WHY MAD DECENT AIN’T GOING NOWHERE ANYTIME SOON

The collection of remixes to some Jet Blue Jet track that I don’t remember coming out shows exactly why, despite all the hating that may come out of certain circles, Mad Decent is not gonna be giving up the crown when it comes to global urban influenced electronic music. They have someone or a group of people that just monitor the sounclouds and the buzz and grab exactly the dudes who are on the come up to be the next big thing. Dunno all these guys but Ape Drums and Tropkillaz are on the road to huge. Now, all the masses who are into Major Lazer will be on them too. The rest of the remixes are not bad either so that’s why I thought it was worthwhile. That, and to marvel at their command of the zeitgeist. Like they work with Snoop Dogg and work with unknowns. It’s crazy.
