These are two really odd songs that both grew on me over time. The first one is from 1978 from Japanese electronic legend Ryuchi Sakamoto. If you’re into this kind of shit you might know him as part of the fucking awesome ass band Yellow Magic Orchestra who are early electronic gods (just listen to fucking this). Anyway, this track has some cool early synth sounds and drums and is fucking 9 minutes long so you really have time to get into it. I remember it used to be really good if you were baked and taking a bus through a busy place and you could just vibe and watch all the things going on. Preview it and download if you want. You might need what we call patience to really enjoy it.
This next one is really fucked and kinda racist. I tried to look up who Fax the Fax are but there is no info available so I really have no idea who the fuck they or he or she or it is. Anyway. I say it’s racist because I have a feeling the “African” sounding parts are gibberish and I’m fucking sure the Arabic parts are. If I’m wrong then I’m racist and I’ll be in hell fucking bitches and you’ll be in heaven having no drugs. I like this and the song before because they really show the “no rules” mentality of early electronic shit. Like you could just fucking do what ever. Now days it’s interesting, the technology is better and easier but the structure of music is more formalized. Guess it’s win/lose.
