DID DJ SNAKE COPY ANOTHER DUDE’S TRACK?

It seems like it’s the case. We live in very unoriginal times. The Snakemiester’s track:

The track by Breaux:

My two cents? It’s a mashup. It’s happened that people had the same idea at the same or different times. These are pretty much the same. Other possibilities? The guy was cool with Dj Snake taking his idea (there has been no word from Breaux so far). Or Breaux went into the future and stole the track from Dj Snake and then went back in time to 4 months ago and put it out under his name.

UPDATE:

Dj Snake has now taken down the track (but we still have a copy thanks to Dj Nappy from Do Androids Dance who is the track thief bounty hunter). What is really worth checking out is the version by Mercer which the two recent tracks are based on. The real genius in all of this seems to be him.

UPDATE 2:

This is just a fucking mashup. Relax bros. Everyone is saying they are cool on twitter now.

  1. Breaux’s version was the original trap mix to Mercer’s “Late Night Version”, BUT you can hear how DJ Snake’s is cleaner and doesn’t have a new bassline over old kicks (you can hear them in Breaux’s version, where DJ Snake’s you can’t). So in the end, DJ Snake’s > Breaux.
