OUR FREE COMP NEW WAVE III: MOVING MOOMBAHTON FORWARD

So here it fucking is, The New Wave 3 comp.

The whole approach with this comp was to point out new directions for the genre of moombahton while featuring up and coming as well as relatively uknown artists within the genre.

The response was so great. It actually helped that we did this post just before asking for submissions. It meant that we really did get a lot of tracks that were outside the classic moombah template.

We had big shoes to fill after the two previous instalments put out by Generation Bass and Moomba-Thong. We feel that with the help of the artists who submitted tracks and with the mastering skills of Evan Langley we were able to meet the challange.

We are especially happy about how this compilation fulfills the dual role of being tracks you can use to smash up the club but also tracks that you could play at home or you could listen to while you walk around your town and have one of those “moments” (you know what we mean). Feel free to share far and wide. It’s free.

This is also the first compilation put out by Walmer Convenience and we think it has set the standard for great things to come!
